MPower Heroes

The experience of working at MPower has been the most collaborative, rewarding, and effective experience. I wish everyone could experience both the learning environment and working environment, because they are unlike any other.

Working at MPower has been a most overwhelmingly positive work experience for me. Coming to work daily is like coming to my second home. Staff are nurtured and supported as much as the teenagers who attend, which makes for a tremendously well-rounded and uplifting working environment. I am privileged to be able to live out my passion of working with children and teens at MPower.

I absolutely love working at MPower! The way they support me and the students is truly special. They don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Instead, they take the time to understand each student and help them in the way that works best for them. The warm and welcoming atmosphere here is just amazing. You can really feel the love and care. It’s not just a job for me; I’ve grown in my role as a facilitator. MPower is a place where both students and staff thrive.

Marlene has built a learning environment that follows learners’ way of learning. This means that I as a facilitator have the opportunity to really help and guide students to their own best way of gaining an education. MPower is like a family, that accepts and respects all who enter into it and Marlene is a leader who leads not only by example, but has cultivated a work environment, that values and recognizes each employee’s strengths, respects their skills and nurtures new growth and opportunity.
